While shopping at an estate auction we were stunned by the beauty and timelessness of vintage jewellery available. But unfortunately these items were not showcased to reflect the true quality and character of these pieces and were receiving little attention by the bidders. We knew there must be an opportunity to showcase and give these pieces a new home.

 

In addition, the current trend of collecting quantities of costume jewellery leaves something to be desired both from an environmental and personal perspective. Jewellery production incurs significant carbon emissions, from the sourcing and refining of raw materials to production and distribution. Vintage jewellery is filled with character, quality and style to be enjoyed for a lifetime.

Herited is an opportunity to showcase timeless and well-designed jewellery, including top-tier luxury brands such as Dior and Givenchy, as well as other beautiful handpicked finds. Every piece has a story and has been restored to give a customer an opportunity to experience jewellery with character. And it is good for the environment as well.

We launch a new 'drop' every season, with a small collection of individually one-off sourced pieces. Once an item is sold, it is gone. As we are building a new drop, we will occasionally showcase a few snaps of pieces on Instagram.
